Things to do

For those who love to exercise

Whether it’s running or walking there are lots of different routes for you to enjoy along the country lanes, footpaths and the towpath.

Great walking is available to all directly from the campsite gates and many more within a short journey.

If you enjoy cycling, we have a nice circular route from the site that goes to Wirswall Hill, cycling for an hour or so depending upon your fitness. We also have easy access to the National Cycle Route 45 (Chester to Salisbury) for those looking to cycle a bit further afield.

The canal offers you the ability to canoe, kayak, stand up paddleboard or fish, subject to you having the correct licences. Please bring your equipment with you.

Fancy learning to paddleboard?

Join SUP Lass on a weekend retreat at Rye Bank Adventures - learn to paddle board, cook a feast on the open fire and decorate the camp on a British flower workshop.

Want to know more? Take a look at the Feasts and Fires package on the Sup Lass website.
