A little bit about us...

As a family we have always loved the outdoors, Ed & Jo both come from farming backgrounds and their two children, Jacob & Megan have been brought up hiking, camping, caravanning and even wild camping! In November 2019, we moved to Rye Bank to provide Jo with the ability to expand her pet care business.

The Campsite

As soon as we saw Rye Bank we valued its beauty and knew it would be perfect as a glamping location. It offers peace, tranquility and open spaces giving you the chance to unwind from modern day pressures. You will have the use of your own campsite, enclosed in a fenced, 1 acre paddock. We chose this area for the uninterrupted views over the surrounding fields, Llangollen Canal and woodland. Sunsets and sunrises can be amazing and on clear nights star-gazing is spectacular with the campsite benefitting from dark skies.

Exclusive use means you choose your neighbours, whether it’s friends or family,

this gives you the ability to have a great time in your own style.

The campsite is centred around the Landpod campfire – a seriously cool, but hot to touch, piece of kit! This provides you the option of cooking over an open fire or utilising the wood fired oven.

We also offer gas camping stoves as an alternative to wood, for a quick cuppa first thing and a full gas BBQ.

Our farm

We love our animals and have our own dog, two donkeys, numerous guinea pigs and chickens, Zac the tortoise & Bundi the bearded dragon! We let the land out to a neighbouring dairy farmer, at certain times of the year you may be able to enjoy watching the silage or hay making! Less high octane, but equally enjoyable is being able to watch the various canal boats tootle past. Opposite the farm is Marbury Equestrian farm ride so you may be able to watch horses popping over a jump or two or just riders ambling along enjoying a chat!

Bring your dog

We welcome well-behaved dogs. All dogs must be on leads at all times when outside of the Landpod field. When in the field they must be supervised and under control, i.e. not causing any form of disturbance. Dogs must not be left alone at the campsite or in any of the Landpod structures. Dog sitting may well be available from the 5 star, fully licensed and insured Weaver Pet Care – pre-booking is essential. There are miles of footpaths directly from our gate to give your dogs plenty of exercise.
